This service is most commonly used by tenants leaving a long term residence or property owner/managers looking to prepare their space for their next guests/tenants.
We also service the real estate market by doing cleans for people moving into a new home that they have purchased, or those who are selling, looking to have the place cleaned up before showings or staged.
Move-out
Move-out cleaning is for those that are leaving their residence and are looking to leave the space in good condition for the next occupants or for thier landlords.
If you are selling your home, we will clean the space so it is staged for buyers, and all cleared out for when the sale comes.
Move-in
If you are moving into a new space and wanted to cleaned before arrival, book a move-in clean with us.
Maybe you are a property manager or landlord and the space was left in dirty condition by the last occupants. We will refresh the space so it's ready to go.
Deep Clean
For those that are currently living in a space and need help getting into the corners and hard to reach areas.
Our deep clean service can help you get on top of the dirt and give you a fresh start or a occasional refresh of your living space.

Dusting & Cleaning Surfaces
High areas first working our way down
- Dust ceiling corners, light fixtures, and ceiling fans using a microfiber cloth or an extendable duster.
- Clean air vents and replace filters if necessary. (Add-on request)
Doors, Walls and Baseboards
- Clean door's front and back. Use Eco-Max glass cleaner for glass doors and multi-purpose cleaner for regular doors.
- Clean door handles and touch-points, with Eco-Max multi-purpose cleaner.
- Wipe down walls and baseboards with a damp cloth and mild cleaner.
- Pay attention to scuff marks and stains.
Furniture
Furnature & Surfaces
- Dust and wipe down all exterior furniture, including dressers, nightstands, and shelves.
- Polish wood furniture with a suitable wood cleaner or polish.
- Clean and organize the inside of drawers and closets. (Add-on request)
Leather Furniture
- Wipe down with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner if needed.
Wood Furniture
- Dust with a microfiber cloth.
- Polish with a suitable wood cleaner or polish.

- Remove all items and dust shelves.
- Wipe down with a damp cloth and replace items neatly.
Upholstered Furniture
- Vacuum sofas and chairs, including cushions, crevices, and underneath.

Wall Art & Frames
- Dust picture frames, mirrors, and wall art.
- Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner.

- Take entryway mats and rugs outside to shake out dust and dirt.

Clean Surfaces
- Clear and clean countertops with an Eco-Max multi-purpose cleaner or Kitchen degreaser if needed.
- Pay special attention to grout lines on tile backsplashes.

- Wipe down the inside of all cabinets and drawers with a damp cloth.
- Use Eco-Max multi-purpose cleaner or Kitchen degreaser if needed and use a plastic scraper to remove stubborn spots.

- Scrub the sink with a soap, rinse then add scrub N shine for final cleaning.
- Clean and polish faucets and handles.
- Run hot water and a bit of dish soap down the drain to clean and freshen it.

- Spray tub and shower walls with a bathroom cleaner Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then scrub with a sponge or brush.
- Pay special attention to grout lines and corners using a toothbrush.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Clean glass shower doors with a bathroom solution or glass cleaner.
- For shower curtains, wash them in the washing machine or wipe down with a cloth and cleaner. (Upon request)
Toilet
- Apply toilet bowl cleaner under the rim and let it sit.
- Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush, paying attention to under the rim.
- Wipe down the outside of the toilet, including the tank, handle, and base, with a disinfectant cleaner.
Sink & Countertops
- Remove items from the countertop and wipe it down with an Eco-Max multi-purpose cleaner.
- Clean the sink with a bathroom cleaner, scrubbing around the faucet and drain.
- Rinse thoroughly and polish fixtures with a dry cloth.

What are all the specialty cleaning services you offer?

Do I need a deposit and how does payment work?
- We require a 50% deposit on the clean, or a $50 authorization/deposit on a valid Credit Card to secure your booking for all deep cleans, move-in/out cleans, or speciality cleans. This helps us cover initial costs and ensures your spot on our schedule. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the service.
- Payment is due upon completion of services.
- Billable hours are in accordance with the number of cleaners assigned to a job (ex. 2 cleaners working for 2 hours each, equals 4 billable cleaning hours).
- We accept online payments through our secure platform, as well as etransfer, and credit card. Contact us if you are interested in paying by check or cash.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, and if you need to reschedule a clean, simply get in touch ideally within 48 hours of the appointment, and we will be happy to move it for you.
- We require a minimum notice of 24 hours for cancellations or rescheduling.
- A cancellation fee may apply for appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Typically, this is a 2 hour charge.
How accurate are your arrival times?
- Estimated arrival time is always a given estimate and accuracy may depend on location, our team schedule, and daily circumstances.
- We book arrival times in 30 minute windows in the mornings (ex. 9:00am-9:30am), and 60 minute arrival windows in the afternoons (ex. 1:00pm-2:00pm), as often our days can be unpredictable.
- If you require a strict arrival time, get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!
How do I ensure I am happy with the clean?
- We strive for customer satisfaction and will work with you closely to ensure we are aligned before arriving for your deep clean. We are always open to suggestions and always welcome feedback.
- If you is not satisfied with the service, we will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve the issue so you leave feeling satisfied.
- Before and After Photos: For quality assurance, we take before and after photos of every clean. These can be provided to you upon request. If you prefer not to have photographs taken in your space, simply inform us, and we will exclude this from our cleaning checklist.
Are you insured if anything were to happen?
- Clean Victoria is bonded, fully insured and takes utmost care during cleaning services.
- Our employees are WorkSafe BC insured and trained with our safety standards and measures.
Do I have to sign up for a contract?
Heck no! At Clean Victoria, we don't make you sign a contract that locks you into a specific schedule. We simply want to provide you with a great clean that is tailored to your needs and fits your schedule. You can cancel anytime as per our terms of service.
